Ms. Pollard works as an independent health care consultant for VantagePoint Health Partners, LLC where she advises health care entities on population health management strategies, electronic health record optimization, and compliance with federal guidelines. She also provides benefits consulting services (e.g. long-term care, health, life) to individuals and small businesses. Ms. Pollard has an extensive background in public health, quality improvement, and performance management. In her previous experience, Ms. Pollard has worked with health plans, provider associations, and government at the state and federal levels in championing accountability to high quality of care principles and measures. She has a particular passion for initiatives that focus on social determinants of health. She has a heart for public service and serves on various boards throughout the community. Ms. Pollard earned an MPH from The Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, a Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College, and completed a domestic exchange placement at Stanford University. She also holds an American Health Information Management Association, Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist credential.
